Wishbone's Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing refuge and care for animals in need. Our team is committed to creating a safe and loving environment for all the animals that come through our doors. Through our range of services, including walkies and playtime, adoption, and donation-funded sanctuary, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and the community. Our story began with a passion for animal welfare, and we continue to stand out by our unwavering dedication to the cause.

Growing up with our dog Candy made it so a place never feels like home without a pet and anywhere feels like home with one. These days I love taking our pup Tito for walks in the park with her other puppy friends. I met Jamie in high school and have seen her grow Wishbones into the flourishing charity it is today. After volunteering during sanctuary workdays and participating in various fundraisers I was offered a Treasurer position on the Wishbones Board and it felt like the perfect way to be able use my professional background to help a charity I believe in and be able provide additional care and resources for pets in need of their own feeling of home.

My passion for animals started young. Our family pet, Biscuit, was my best friend, and the bond that we shared helped me through much of my life.
From that point on, I couldn't spend much time without an animal by my side. Today, I'm lucky enough to have my girl Cinder, an Aussie Shep/Heeler Mix. She, my daughter, and I share the same passion and enthusiasm for creatures and humans alike.
Jamie is one of my oldest friends, and I knew it was going to be a special friendship from day one. After watching Jamie's love and drive and having the opportunity to see what a beautiful thing she's created, I feel so lucky to share a part of the journey and support her any way I can. I was offered the Secretary role for the Wishbone's organization, and it is a title I wear with honor. I'm looking forward to adding value and driving the care for critters who really need it the most.
